'블루(BLOO)' [Downtown Baby]
메킷레인 레코즈 소속 '블루(BLOO)'가 첫번째 EP앨범인 [Downtown Baby]를 발매했다.
메킷레인 레코즈 소속 '블루(BLOO)'가 첫번째 EP앨범인 [Downtown Baby]를 발매했다.
'블루'는 올해 싱글앨범 [Better], [Hennessy], 'niahn'과 함께 작업한 'neonblue'의 앨범 [Henny And Jamie]를 발표하고 '슬리피' "맘대로", '리코' "Don't Talk to Me"에 피쳐링으로 참여하는 등 그의 개성있는 목소리와 플로우로 주목받으며 활발한 활동을 이어왔다.
[Downtown Baby]는 총 5곡이 수록되었으며 타이틀곡 "Downtown Baby"는 LA 다운타운에서 겪은 연애담이 담긴 중독성있는 훅이 돋보이는 곡이다.
또한 자책하고 후회하며 자기 자신을 돌아보는 내용의 "I AM", 슬플 때도 기쁠 때도 있는데 그 순간들을 숨기며 살아가는 사람들에게 위로가 되고싶어 만든 곡 "Sometimes" 등 더 깊게 그의 생각과 이야기를 이번 앨범에 담았다.
기타 리프로 이어지는 앨범 마지막에는 김박첼라가 편곡으로 참여한 "Downtown Baby"의 피아노 버전이 수록되었다.
